The sessions of the two churches I serve considered these banners and enthusiastically decided to have them printed. It exemplifies who we hope to be in our communities. We put up one of the banners this past week. Today was commencement for Austin College, just across the street. As I greeted people following worship this morning a man from Alabama whose grandson was graduating, came up to take a picture of our banner. I asked him what he thought. He said he loved it. Our next door neighbor to the church is the president of Austin College. She and her husband are Jewish. She has not only remarked enthusiastically about our banner, but has been telling many people about it. She is proud to be neighbor to us, and we to her. In just the couple of days it has been up it has already had a positive effect and is communicating well what we believe about being neighbors.

Somehow I saw this sign somewhere else in the US, looked up the website to order one, and low and behold, Lander Bethel in Sherman is here. ❤️
