I already posted a story and this one is just as great!! When I originally ordered the sign, I wanted the huge 6’ one because I wanted to make the biggest statement I could. When it arrived, it was much smaller. Turns out Barbara was having difficulty with their manufacturer and didn’t know I’d been sent the wrong one. She was super gracious and told me I could keep it and they immediately got to work on getting me the proper one. When it arrived, the town had grown used to seeing mine on my shop’s front, and they loved it. I had intended to change them out and put the smaller sign on the restaurant opposite our shop which belongs to my market owners as well. But I wondered if someone else in our community might join my sentiment. If someone else would hang the sign then it wouldn’t just be my own voice, but others joining as well. I posted it on facebook and had an extraordinary response. Multiple folks wanted to hang it at their places. I was even asked where I purchased it because others are interested inn getting their own. In the end I gave it to our town’s Visitor’s Center that sits directly on the highway at the town’s entrance. We couldn’t think of a more appropriate space! With all the negativity in the world, it’s encouraging to know how many people really do have good hearts and want to take part in being neighbors!!! Thank you Barbara for helping change things for us in our little neck of the woods.
